Feeling the familar waves of emptiness

I am knocked down again

crying for some peace

holding myself together the best I can

waiting for that last blow

waiting for the next person to leave me

a crumbled heap of nothingness

worthless and false

I will tell you what you want to hear

just dont leave me again

dont leave me to my own devices

destructive and hatefull

I am the deer in the headlights

scared that if you dont kill me

my wounds will eventually bleed me out

slowly, painfully

like they did before
